Allan Shephard is one of Australia’s most experienced Production Car racers, with many years of competition experience in a vast array of machinery. Allan started his motorsport career in the New South Wales Street Sedan class, and amidst some close competition came out on top of the under two-litre class. After a hiatus away from the race track, he was lured back to competition by the highly competitive one-make Mitsubishi Mirage national series. Over a couple seasons, Allan scored many strong top-ten results aboard the Thrifty Car Rentals sponsored machine.

He then set his sights on Production Cars, over the years taking in many events Australia wide including the Bathurst 24 Hour and 12 Hour events aboard machinery from manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Honda, Toyota and Mazda. He has also raced in the world famous Nurburgring 24 Hour race in Germany. Allan’s racing has netted several overall championship placings in the production sports car coupe classes. His current weapon of choice is the GWS Motorsport BMW 130i, with sponsorship from The Shire Conveyancer, Spinifex Australia Briffa Smash Repairs and Rouge Larger.

Allan lives in Cronulla, loves the beach, the surf and his family.
